Partner With Us for Student Success

Universities in the UK have shown their commitment to our efforts by supporting our mission through partnerships and by establishing Team Kenya societies.

Today, Newcastle, Northumbria, and Sussex University all provide valuable contributions to our cause. By volunteering with Team Kenya, students develop personal and professional skills as well as boosting their employability credentials and improving access to work after leaving education.

How Can Universities Work with Team Kenya?

By working with Team Kenya, universities can positively impact the lives of young people in the UK and Kenya.

Volunteer for Team Kenya

We provide a diverse range of volunteering opportunities for students including blog writing, admin support, event coordination and marketing placements. These volunteering opportunities allow students to develop personally, increase employability and gain valuable experience alongside studies.

Fundraising Opportunities

Universities can help raise awareness for Team Kenya and organise fundraising activities to support the schools and community in Ndhiwa. Such opportunities enable students to improve and develop on professional, teamwork, organisational and leadership skills, while universities can attract new students to their institutions.

Visit our Rural Communities

Visiting our community projects helps students and staff members alike experience first-hand how their support has an impact on girls and women in rural Kenya. These trips are both highly rewarding and an invaluable experience for students who work to raise awareness for Team Kenya.

In 2022/23 the society expanded to 30 members who have since helped organise pub quizzes, bake sales, and social events.
